There are many reasons why you need to get yourself a prepaid card before traveling to Ireland for your master’s:

Step by step guide

- Step II: Enquire about the best exchange rate they can provide you with. Sometimes a negotiation can be discussed.
- Step III: The agents might directly visit your residence to collect your documents, or you may need to visit the nearest branch. Once the documents are obtained, you will get your prepaid/travel card on the same day.
- Step IV: You will be contacted by Cox n Kings/Thomas Cook asking you to perform the money transfer to a specific account /link to pay via Credit card.
- Step V: You need to transfer the funds worth £XXX + Service Fee.
- Step VI: Your prepaid/travel card will automatically be activated within 24 hours. It will be loaded with the money you have sent, once the respective vendor receives your money. Make sure to check if the card is working, before you leave.
